Kevazinga Wood Veneer

$230.08

Kevazinga veneer is an African, exotic hardwood that is sometimes referred to as waterfall Bubinga. It is a reddish brown with contrasting darker color veining and has a prominent figure. Kevazinga wood veneer is available in 4′ x 8′ sheets in FlexVen™ 10 and FlexVen™ 20 paper backed sheets with a PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) option. It is also available in a 4′ x 10′ size and with the Tuf-Pli™ polyback and Pli-Flex™ wood on wood backer options as special order.

It is usually rotary cut to accentuate the figure and can be a one piece face or when spliced it is book matched with the grain running along the 8’ dimension. Kevazingo is an African hardwood that is dense, relatively easy to work with and strong. It has a moderately coarse texture and a slightly porous interlocking grain. Kevazinga veneer is known to get slightly darker with age. Kevazinga wood veneer will accept stains and finishes well but is most often finished with a clear coat that preserves the warmth and accentuates the color and beauty of the wood’s natural grain.
